The InterContinental Taichung, located in the heart of Taiwan, is growing its team and currently seeking a seasoned Executive Sous Chef to take the lead in our Western Kitchen operations.

We’re looking for a passionate culinary professional with:

- Strong foundation in Italian cuisine and wide knowledge of Mediterranean culinary styles
- Experience in a la carte and premium buffet service in a luxury environment
- Skills in purchase and cost management, stock transfers, FSMS hygiene systems, and Materials Control systems
- Familiarity with roster planning, kitchen administration, and operational procedures
- A creative mindset and drive to craft visually stunning dishes with a focus on flavor and plating artistry
- Mandarin communication skills to lead and inspire a local culinary team
- impactful and inspiring Leadership qualities 
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Executive Chef to elevate the culinary experiences at our Italian Signature Restaurant, Lounge, and VIP Bar — shaping memorable moments for every guest.
